Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and coachable ServiceNow Platform Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. The candidate must possess a Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification from ServiceNow.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions within the ServiceNow platform, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations.
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using ServiceNow scripting languages.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve production problems related to the ServiceNow platform.
• Manage multiple development projects at one time while being organized and taking detailed notes.
• Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and functionalities, proposing enhancements and upgrades.
• Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification from ServiceNow.
• Minimum 2 years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform (e.g., ITSM, HR, AppEngine, ITOM, IRM, SecOps, etc.) with in-depth knowledge of platform capabilities, scripting languages, and architecture.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming concepts, data structures, and best practices for software design.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Additional ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
