What you will do
You will be part of a multi-discipline product development team working in the design and development of new products. The Electrical Engineer will work closely with a group of experienced engineers in designing, developing, debugging and documenting new electrical hardware designs with a focus but not limited to analog and power electronics.
How you will do it
- Contributes to the design, development, and testing of electrical equipment, components, or systems.
 - Applies mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs.
 - Proficient with circuit simulation.
 - Works directly with more senior engineers to develop new designs and solutions.
 - Document circuit designs using schematic capture software.
 - Perform and document stress tests, performance tests and functionality tests.
 - Create engineering documentation to support manufacturing and service processes.
 - Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions.
 - Work with Mechanical and Software engineers to help define design platform.
 
What we look for
- Experience with design and development of RF, analog and digital electronics.
 - Experienced with the designs of mixed signal hardware circuits including (ADC, DAC, Microprocessors and DSP).
 - Experienced in communication interfaces hardware and protocols (Ethernet, SPI, I2C, RS-485, RS-232, UARTs, etc.).
 - Proven ability to take a design concept from requirements level and develop a complete hardware design and verify via test and integration.
 - Proficient with circuit simulation.
 - Experience with PCB design cycle (schematic capture, layout, fabrication and test).
 - Experience with Altium Designer a plus
 - Basic understanding of Switch Mode Power Supplies, Linear Regulators, rectifiers and transformers.
 - Familiarity with basic embedded programming a plus.
 - Proficient with the use of lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, Function Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, etc.)
 - Strong desire to learn.
 - Excellent communication and presentation skills.
 - Ability to work on a cross-functional team.
 - Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent.
 - 5+ years of experience preferred.
 
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $71,000-102,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) This position includes a
