ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY - LITIGATION

HYBRID - Regular in-office presence with some flexibility for work-from-home
A top-10 AmLaw international law firm is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney to join their dynamic Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group in Miami . This is an exciting opportunity for a driven litigator to work on sophisticated disputes while learning from a nationally recognized team. The position offers hands-on experience across all stages of litigation, as well as meaningful mentorship and professional development.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in Florida , in good standing.
- 4+ years of general litigation experience across a broad range of practices.
- Completion of a federal or state supreme court judicial clerkship is a plus.
- Prior law firm experience is a plus .
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to draft pleadings, motions, and client communications with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
- Sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and a practical, business‑oriented approach to legal issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including direct interaction with clients and colleagues.
- Collaborative , team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of matters.
- Commitment to professional development and participation in pro bono or community service initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda , motions , briefs , and other court filings .
- Support senior attorneys in case development , strategy , and client communications .
- Assist with discovery , including drafting requests and responses, and reviewing evidence.
- Participate in depositions , hearings , mediations and trials , providing support to the litigation team.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts and other stakeholders.
Review, organize, and manage case files, pleadings, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Compensation : Annual base salary is expected to range from $310,000-$390,000depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
- Discretionary bonus opportunities are also available.
