Zipline Attendant

The Zipline Attendant is responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and enjoyable experience for all guests participating in the zipline attraction. This role involves conducting safety checks, properly fitting equipment, delivering clear safety instructions, and actively monitoring riders throughout their experience. The Zipline Attendant upholds standards of customer service while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections of zipline cables, tension lines, harnesses, lanyards, and carabiners to ensure proper condition and functionality.
- Verify and maintain zipline cable tension at 750 pounds each day.
- Assist participants with proper harness fitting and secure attachment before each ride.
- Clearly communicate zipline rules and safety procedures to all participants.
- Monitor riders during their zipline experience to ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
- Communicate professionally with residents and guests, addressing questions or concerns as needed.
- Promptly report equipment issues, safety concerns, or guest feedback to the Recreation Manager.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

Physical Abilities
- Ability to work in extreme heat and varying outdoor weather conditions.
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including daily equipment inspections, assisting participants, and managing zipline gear.
