Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class B CDL Driver for a local HVAC supply company in Jacksonville. This position is responsible for safely delivering HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies to customers and job sites throughout the local area.
This is a great opportunity for a professional driver who enjoys being home daily, working with customers, and being part of a fast-paced warehouse and distribution team.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle for local deliveries
- Deliver HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies to customers and job sites
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Verify delivery paperwork, quantities, and customer orders
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain required signatures
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers
- Assist with warehouse duties, loading, staging, or order preparation as needed
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Valid Class B CDL
- Previous commercial driving experience preferred
- Clean and acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely operate delivery equipment and handle freight
- Ability to lift and move HVAC products and supplies as required
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and follow delivery schedules
- Must meet applicable DOT and company requirements
You should be proficient in:
- DOT Medical Card
- Current CDL License
