The newly renovated, Casa Marina is seeking a Complex Senior Catering Sales Manager to join the Catering and Events team.
Casa Marina is located in the southernmost point in the U.S., Key West and embodies the elegance and character of Old Key West offering an exciting opportunity to be a part of this award-winning team. Nestled along the southern edge of the island overlooking more than 1,100 feet of private beach, this historic hotel has 311 rooms, 4 food and beverage outlets, and over 11,000 square feet of banquet space. As Senior Catering Sales Manager, you will lead wedding and social event sales by generating new business, qualifying leads, and closing high‑value events through proposals and contract negotiation. This role is primarily focused on selling complex weddings and social celebrations, with an emphasis on creative menu and event concepts that drive revenue. You will serve as the primary sales contact through contract execution, then transition events to the Events team for delivery. Limited servicing is required, with focus placed on pipeline development, relationship building, and achieving sales goals. This position may support and act on behalf of the Director of Catering and Events as needed.
Specifically, your essential functions will be to perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
To organize, plan and prioritize your duties by developing plans and goals.
Timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person.
Create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations.
Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes.
Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts.
Selling and influencing both internal and external clients.
Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating the issues and determine the best solution.
Ensure high quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand the guest needs, providing direction and guidance, feedback and individual coaching when needed.
Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary.
Other duties as necessary based on business needs.

What are we looking for?
• Minimum Years of Experience: two (2) years Hospitality related experience at manager level.
• Experience in supervision or management of 1-3 people.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
• Knowledge of the hotel property management systems (Delphi.fdc)
• Relevant degree, in business development or other relevant business field, from an academic institution (CMP, CPCE)
