Job Summary:
The Echo/Vascular Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality echocardiogram and vascular ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and company protocols. This position plays a vital role in supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions while ensuring patient comfort and exceptional care in a collaborative clinical setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive echocardiogram and/or vascular ultrasound exams following established protocols and physician directives.

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care during each examination.

• Evaluate and document image quality, measurements, and findings accurately.

• Maintain complete and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

• Communicate effectively and professionally with referring physicians, clinical staff, and patients.

• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly.

• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain certifications and stay current with best practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

• Certifications: Active ARDMS or CCI certification (RDCS, RVT, or RVS).

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience preferred.

• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a commitment to patient care excellence.
