Maintenance Mechanic
Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and fix mechanical/electrical issues on production equipment, process systems, utilities, and HVAC.
- Preventative Maintenance (PMs): Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly planned maintenance, inspections, and quality checks.
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) and cGMP/GDP (Good Manufacturing Practices/Documentation) guidelines for all tasks, including documentation.
- Documentation: Accurately record all maintenance activities, observations, and actions in CMMS or other systems.
- Collaboration: Work with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and other teams; support contractors.
- Operational Support: Assist with equipment changeovers, system start-ups, and ensure machine stability for consistent operations.
- Safety: Perform tasks like confined space entry, work at heights, and LOTO procedures.
- Repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments. Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
Skills:
- Minimum 2-5 year working with in production and pharma industries
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma
