Benefits Analyst
Kforce has a client seeking a Benefits Analyst in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Overview: This role will focus on benefits administration, retirement programs, data analysis, auditing, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, experience supporting employee benefits programs, and the ability to quickly contribute in a fast-paced environment. This position is well-suited for a professional who enjoys working with large datasets, resolving complex benefits issues, and ensuring the accuracy of benefits and retirement information. Responsibilities:
- Support the administration of employee benefits and retirement programs
- Perform audits of benefits, retirement, and HR-related data to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Analyze large volumes of data and identify discrepancies, trends, and corrective actions
- Assist with 401(k) administration, reconciliation, and auditing activities
- Research and resolve benefits-related issues and employee record discrepancies
- Support benefits projects, process improvements, and ongoing operational initiatives
- Conduct data validation and quality assurance reviews within HR systems
- Generate reports and analyze workforce data using advanced Excel functions
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders to maintain accurate benefits records and support operational needs
- Assist with compliance reviews and documentation related to benefits programs
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience in benefits administration, benefits analysis, or HR operations
- Experience supporting retirement and 401(k) programs
- Strong data analysis and auditing experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting, and data validation
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience working with Workday or a comparable HRIS platform
- Background supporting benefits audits and compliance initiatives
- Experience with large-scale employee data reviews and reconciliation activities
- Knowledge of leave management, PTO administration, or absence management processes
- Experience supporting HR system implementations or post-go-live stabilization efforts
