Principal Learning Consultant, Alpha - $200,000/year USD

- Building Guide Playbooks that document facilitation best practices, design of engaging learning activities, and approaches to common obstacles
- Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides that increases student engagement and outcomes
- Personally coaching a small group of students, demonstrating advanced coaching and motivational techniques
- Creating lesson plans – your Guides support students working through adaptive software; you concentrate on training them to become outstanding motivators
- Accepting reduced expectations – when our standard is 100% mastery, your responsibility is to uphold that threshold
- Running dull training sessions – you'll develop Guides through dynamic, energetic, experiential learning
- Currently located in or willing to relocate for on-site work at one of the Alpha Campuses (Bethesda, MD; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Seattle, WA; or CA: East Bay (San Francisco), Palo Alto, Santa Monica, or Los Angeles)
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or related areas.
- Proven track record of creating and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training solutions.
- Exceptional leadership and mentorship capabilities with demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Background working with young people (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings.
- Strong capability in data analysis and leveraging metrics to inform decisions and drive ongoing improvement.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
