Pediatric Anesthesiologist (Jacksonville)

Nemours Children's Health, Jacksonville is seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to work in partnership with Wolfson Children's Hospital.

The Department of Anesthesiology at Nemours Jacksonville serves a rapidly growing area in Florida. Our facilities include 10 inpatient ORs, 5 ambulatory ORs/GI endoscopy suites, an interventional radiology suite, and a cardiac catheterization suite. Anesthesia care is also provided in three MRI suites and the hematology/oncology clinic. We are expanding into off-campus ambulatory surgery centers to accommodate increasing case volumes.

We serve a diverse pediatric population, providing anesthesia for approximately 15,000 children annually. Our team manages cases independently and contributes to teaching anesthesia residents from Mayo Clinic and other residencies.

Ideal candidates will have an interest in education, research, and program development, with opportunities for academic affiliation with the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine in Jacksonville.

The candidate should have:

• Interest in clinical excellence within a care team model, education, and research
• MD/DO degree
• Board certification in Anesthesia
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesia
