Bookkeeper - Property Management/Real Estate Company
We are hiring a Full-Time Bookkeeper for our property management & commercial realty firm in Pensacola, FL.
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping transactions for managed properties.
- Process rent collections, deposits, vendor payments, and accounts payable filing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and CAM reconciliations.
- Monthly financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss reporting, and month-end close.
- Maintain vendor records, W-9s, certificates of insurance, and tenant information utilizing "Yardi".
- Update tenant rolls, customer databases, and property management files.
- Assist Property Manager's (at their direction) with lease administration, tenant move-ins & move-outs, and any needed property-related documentation.
- Track tenant notifications, insurance compliance, late notices, lease-requirements, etc.
- Experience with Yardi is PREFERRED but not required .
- Must be proficient with accounting software
- H ave a general knowledge of bookkeeping & accounting principles.
- Superior attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective time management skills are essential to this position.
