CDL A Driver and Metal Fabricator

In this dual-role position, you’ll play a vital part in both delivering building materials and fabricating metal products on job sites. You’ll operate top-quality equipment, ensure accurate and timely deliveries, and represent our company with professionalism and integrity.

What you'll do:

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs

• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load

• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site

• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Cut metal roofing and siding onsite according to job specifications

• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products

• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE

What you'll bring:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Class A license in good standing
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Experience operating heavy equipment
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
