Customer Services Representative

Communicate with customers and vendors in order to monitor flow of shipment movement while providing excellent customer service and administrative support to the department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor customer shipments that in storage to ensure timely updates for our agents and accounting department Effectively balance a large volume of tasks and emails Perform administrative procedures related to the customer's relocation Provide accurate and complete information in computer systems Prioritize workload to meet required deadlines Provide administrative support to customer service department Back up support for receptionist Ability to work overtime Job Skills Required: Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written) Aptitude for working under deadlines and within specific time frames Ability to read and interpret emails and documents Exceptional ability to identify, analyze, and creatively solve problems Ability to demonstrate resourcefulness and to work independently Self-motivated; works with urgency and with minimum supervision Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Excellent customer service and oral/written communication skills required. Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel Certificates and Licenses: No certifications needed Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
