Territory Sales Rep

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Territory Sales Representative to generate leads and drive sales within the Central Florida Territory. Our client specializes in commercial HVAC equipment, offering new products/installations & preventive maintenance service contracts. To be successful as a Territory Sales Representative, you should be persuasive and have excellent negotiation skills.

Location : St Petersburg/Tampa, remote/field based

Compensation : $60k-$65k Base Salary + uncapped commission ($90-100k OTE Y1)

Industry : Calling on vertical markets consisting of, but not limited to, Industrial sites, Medical offices, Hospitals, Professional Office Space, Churches, Private Schools, Financial Institutions, ETC

Job Responsibilities:

• Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers based within an assigned sales territory.
• Traveling within an assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers.
• Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers.
• Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to drive sales.
• Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales.
• Researching competitors' products and pricing as well as market conditions.
• Keeping abreast of the latest industry developments by attending meetings, training workshops, and industry events.
• Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales.

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years outside sales experience
• HVAC/Industrial sales experience is preferred
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Strong consultative sales skills
• Excellent organizational skills & ability to work independently
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
