A Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in guest rooms and common areas. This includes cleaning rooms, changing linens, restocking amenities, and ensuring overall hotel cleanliness. Housekeepers also handle guest requests and report any maintenance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dusting and Polishing: Dusting and polishing furniture, lamps, and other surfaces.
 
- Floor Care: Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
 
- Trash Removal: Emptying trash bins and waste containers.
 
- Laundry Services: Assisting with laundry duties as needed.
 
- Maintenance Reporting: Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
 
- Guest Requests: Handling guest requests promptly and professionally.
 
- Safety and Sanitation: Following all health and safety regulations.
 
- Cart Maintenance: Restocking housekeeping carts and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
 
- Collaboration: Working with other hotel staff, including front desk and maintenance teams.
 
- Guest Satisfaction: Ensuring all rooms meet hotel cleanliness standards and contributing to overall guest satisfaction.
 
- Lost and Found: Reporting and returning any guest property found in the rooms.
 
- Cleaning Guest Rooms: Thoroughly cleaning and tidying guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
 - Linens and Towels: Changing bed linens and replacing used towels.
 - Restocking Amenities: Replenishing toiletries, coffee supplies, and other guest amenities.
