Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support the well-being and academic success of students within a K-12 educational setting in Niceville, FL. This position offers a contract role for the upcoming school year, focusing on delivering comprehensive psychological services to a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students learning and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support students' social and emotional health.
- Assist in creating strategies and interventions to promote positive behavior and academic achievement.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives that enhance student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with confidentiality and ethical guidelines inherent to the profession.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working within K-12 education environments.
- Strong understanding of assessment tools and intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
Location: Niceville, Florida serving students across all grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade.
