Account Manager, Construction
Compensation: $60,000â$80,000 base salary + company-wide profit sharing; higher compensation considered for highly qualified candidates.
Location: Primarily remote; must be based in SW or SE Florida.
Travel & Onsite Requirements:
- Training: First 2 weeks onsite at the Boynton Beach office (travel and lodging covered)
- Ongoing: Attend customer meetings and builder events across SW Florida based on location (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Maintain and retain existing customers by building long-term relationships and loyalty.Â
- Coordinate with internal departments to meet customer construction, material supply, timing, and safety needs.Â
- Collaborate with estimators to execute reports and prepare proposals.Â
- Identify and pursue new residential construction opportunities.Â
- Represent the company at builder meetings, trade shows, and community events.Â
- Attend customer meetings or builder events across SE or SW Florida zones.Â
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Â
- 2+ years of purchasing experience with a residential home builder or General Contractor preferred.Â
- 2+ years of construction experience.Â
- 2+ years of estimating experience in concrete, masonry, and lumber phases preferred.Â
- Residential custom home builder experience strongly preferred.Â
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Formulas, Pivot Tables, etc.).Â
- Experience with estimating and project management software preferred.Â
- Valid driverâs license.Â
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Â
- Ability to work as part of a cohesive team.Â
