Application Packaging Engineer
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Application Packaging Engineer in Miami, FL (Florida). Responsibilities:
- Package and deploy Windows applications using Microsoft Intune
- Create, maintain, and troubleshoot Win32 (Intune Win) application packages
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for application installation, uninstallation, and detection
- Configure application assignments, dependencies, supersedence, and deployment rings
- Test application deployments and resolve installation issues
- Partner with Desktop Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to ensure successful deployments
- Support application updates, versioning, and lifecycle management
- Document packaging processes and deployment standards
- Troubleshoot endpoint management and software deployment issues in Windows 10/11 environments
- 5+ years of experience in application packaging and software deployment
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune
- Experience in creating and deploying Win32 applications
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills
- Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune administration
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems
- Experience troubleshooting application deployment issues
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM)
- Experience with Windows Autopilot
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Experience migrating application deployments from SCCM to Intune
- Experience supporting enterprise environments with thousands of endpoints
