Picture your shift starting in a clean, organized bay. You review MES planning, pull up engineering drawings and blueprints, and map out the day’s build on a complex airframe assembly. Your micrometer and dial calipers are at the ready; ball gauges and scales are close by. As an Aerospace Sheet Metal Structures Technician on this contract assignment, you’ll maintain, modify, and integrate aircraft sheet metal and composite components into major assemblies with precision and pride. We’re hiring 40 professionals for this work in Stuart, FL.

What your day looks like

• Rework, install, and fabricate intricate aircraft structural assemblies in both sheet metal and composite materials.
• Use precision measuring devices (micrometers, ball gauges, dial calipers, scales, and other calibrated tools) to verify fit, alignment, and tolerances.
• Perform checks, inspections, and component installations while keeping detailed records of all work performed.
• Work directly from MES planning, engineering drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications/procedures.
• Follow written and verbal quality instructions; promptly alert supervision to any material, equipment, or product defects or damage.
• Keep your workstation neat, clean, and orderly; perform visual and functional inspections to confirm requirements are met.
• Apply basic understanding of withholding/hold tags and non-conformance tags; perform related tasks with supervision as needed.
• Execute precision drilling and install rivets and fasteners to aerospace standards.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety programs; take on additional related duties as assigned.

What you bring

• 3+ years of experience as a sheet metal mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and speaking English.
• Familiarity with non-conformance tags and basic repair execution under supervision.
• Physical capability for lifting, climbing, grasping, holding, standing, bending, stooping, and working overhead.
• Accredited High School Diploma or GED.

Schedule & Location

Full-Time 5/40 schedule. Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift, with overtime and potential weekends as required. Location: Stuart, FL (contract opportunity).

Pre-employment

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
