Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and skilled bartender who is passionate about mixology and committed to delivering exceptional service. This role goes beyond traditional bartending by focusing on the preparation of innovative cocktails and utilizing advanced techniques. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of spirits and drink preparation, provide personalized guest interactions, and maintain a clean, organized, and high-functioning bar environment.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities Drink Preparation & Service
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency, precision, and attention to presentation.

  • Use advanced mixology techniques to craft creative and customized drinks.

Guest Interaction
  • Engage with guests in a professional, friendly, and knowledgeable manner.

  • Offer recommendations and educate guests on cocktail ingredients, techniques, and pairings.

Food & Beverage Service
  • Serve food and beverages courteously and efficiently.

  • Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any additional requests promptly.

Menu Knowledge
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and suggested pairings.

Bar Setup & Maintenance
  • Set and clear the bar top quickly and effectively to maintain cleanliness and readiness.

  • Ensure the bar area is clean, sanitized, well-stocked, and organized throughout the shift.

Cash Handling
  • Present guest checks, process payments accurately, and handle transactions responsibly.

Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth, coordinated service.

  • Assist in other areas of operations as needed to support a seamless guest experience.

Compliance
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and alcohol service.

  • Verify guest identification to ensure legal compliance when serving alcoholic beverages.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a bartender or mixologist in a high-volume or upscale environment.

  • Advanced knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail-making techniques.

  • Creativity and passion for developing new and unique beverages.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations and during busy service times.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

  • Certified in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol).

  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Licenses or Certificates
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any licenses or certifications required by local or state regulations.

Grooming Standards
  • All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance in accordance with company grooming policies.

  • Maintain visual acuity to read order tickets and identify ingredients.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and guests.
