Job Summary
The Enhancement Crew Member is responsible for performing a wide range of landscaping duties to enhance and maintain commercial properties. This includes sod installation, planting, pruning, irrigation, hardscape installation, and other property enhancement tasks. The role requires the use of hand tools, power equipment, and occasional light construction duties.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform landscape enhancement tasks such as:
- Laying sod, planting trees, shrubs, and flowers
- Watering, fertilizing, mulching, pruning, trimming, and weeding
- Removing or replanting lawns, converting lawn areas to planters, or planters to lawns
- Digging trenches, preparing forms, and finishing cement surfaces for mow strips, sidewalks, and planters
- Installing sprinklers and irrigation systems
- Installing mortarless segmental masonry wall units
- Operate hand and power equipment including mowers, blowers, gas-powered trimmers, pruners, and shears
- Safely load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials from site to site.
- Maintain equipment and ensure work areas are kept clean and organized
- Abide by all internal control and compliance practices, including safeguarding assets, following laws and regulations, and maintaining confidentiality
Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to use manual tools (shovels, picks, rakes, hand shears) and mechanized equipment
- Work from elevated heights such as an 8’ A-frame ladder
- Knowledge of plant care, watering, and fertilizer application standards
- Ability to read and write in English; bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
Education and Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent desired
- Previous outside construction, landscape, or similar field experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills a must
- 6 months commercial landscape experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
- Regular and reliable attendance; ability to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift and carry 40–50 lbs. (occasionally up to 120 lbs. with team assistance)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods
- Ability to push/pull equipment, materials, and trees requiring force up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to work near natural bodies of water and at elevated heights (e.g., 8’ A-frame ladder)
