As the first face patients and families see, you'll play an essential role in creating an exceptional experience while supporting multiple pediatric specialty practices within the Naples location.
What You'll Do
As a Float Customer Service Representative, you'll provide front office support across Pediatric Specialty clinics by:
Welcoming patients and families with outstanding customer service
Scheduling appointments and coordinating patient visits
Registering patients and verifying demographic information
Assisting with insurance verification and referrals
Managing incoming phone calls and patient inquiries
Maintaining accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
Supporting clinic operations wherever needed

Minimum Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate's Degree preferred
Experience
External Candidates
Minimum 2 years of customer service experience required
3 years of medical office front desk experience preferred
Epic EMR experience preferred
Internal Candidates
Minimum 1 year of scheduling or registration experience required
Customer Service Representative experience preferred
Additional Qualifications
Excellent customer service and computer skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Weekend and holiday availability as needed
No license or certification required.

The Float Customer Service Representative position is responsible for providing an excellent customer experience. Responsibilities include utilizing a practice management system to facilitate scheduling, registration, accurate billing, collections and the maintenance of medical records. This position can be assigned Sat and Sun shifts and reports to the Manager/Supervisor. This position is required to float to all LPG and Hospital Outpatient Department locations across four counties.
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree preferred.
Experience: External Candidates: 2 years of customer service experience required. 3 years of similar medical office front desk experience preferred, Epic EMR experience preferred. Internal candidates: 1 year of equivalent scheduling or registration experience, CSR role preferred.
License: Not required.
Certifications: Not required.
Other: Excellent customer service and computer skills required. Ability to solve problems and demonstrate critical thinking skills. Works weekend and holidays.
