Plant Operations Project Quality Coordinator

Summary
The Project Quality Coordinator coordinates technical project activities, including document reviews, quality control, installations according to specifications, field coordination of ICRA/ALSM requirements, system testing, inspections by Agencies Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), and resolving any identified deficiencies. This role oversees policies and procedures for domestic water, chilled water, steam, and cooling tower shutdowns, alongside equipment replacements, modifications, and repairs. They develop Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) and Alternate Life Safety Measures (ALSM) for projects impacting water systems, aid in flushing and logging daily fixtures or piping in renovation areas and ensure water quality compliance in critical areas such as the Sterile Processing Department (SPD), Dialysis, and Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems. Additionally, they collect and present ICRA/ALSM documentation at monthly Environmental Safety Committee (ESC) meetings, manage ICRA/ALSM walkthroughs with the environmental standard team, collaborate with construction managers on ICRA/ALSM approvals, and manage the inventory of HEPA vacs, negative air machines, filters, ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements
Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required.
Experience: Utility or Plant Operations quality control background with a minimum of six (6) years experience preferred.
Certification: None Required
License: Valid Florida drivers license required within 30 days of employment.
Other: Healthcare maintenance technician experience or Certified Healthcare Facilities Technician (CHFT) preferred.
