Database Administrator
Client: FL Government Agency
Position: Database Administrator
Term: ASAP - June 2027 with potential renewal
Pay: $58/Hr - $60/Hr
Location: On site - Tallahassee, FL
Work Authorization: USC or GC ONLY
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- 6 years of experience
- Experience with IBM DB2.
- Proficiency in SQL Server 2016 and above and with Oracle 19c and above
- Experience with Azure SQL is a plus
Responsibilities:
This resource will primarily be tasked with performing Database (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle) planning and operational activities including, but not limited to the following:
- Daily operational and database administration activities
- Plan, design, implement, support for database structures
- Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning
- Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation
- Perform SQL Code reviews
- Assist with training/mentoring other technical staff This resource may also be required to perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested
