The Opportunity

Levoca is seeking a Senior Associate, Advisory & Impact Finance Strategy to join our growing team in Miami. We are building a team of exceptional people where every person is expected to be outstanding in their role and to raise the bar for the colleagues around them.

The successful candidate will lead and support complex analytical workstreams across client engagements, contribute to the design of innovative finance structures, and help strengthen Levoca’s capabilities in advisory, intermediation, and market-building.

Role Summary

The Senior Associate will play a central role in delivering high-quality analytical and strategic work across Levoca’s advisory portfolio. This person will support and increasingly lead workstreams related to sustainable finance, blended finance, outcomes-based finance, market research, financial strategy, and client delivery.

They will also help integrate AI-enabled workflows into our delivery model, using the right tools to accelerate research, synthesis, and insight generation while maintaining a high bar for rigor and quality.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in demanding, fast-paced environments, enjoys solving ambiguous and high-stakes problems, and wants to grow into broader engagement leadership over time.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Advisory and Analytical Delivery

• Structure and execute complex analytical workstreams across Levoca’s advisory, sustainable finance, and outcomes-based finance engagements.
• Conduct market assessments, policy and ecosystem analysis, investor and stakeholder research, competitive benchmarking, and strategic synthesis for global clients and partners.
• Translate complex quantitative and qualitative inputs into clear strategic recommendations, practical options, and decision-ready materials.
• Support the design of high-impact advisory engagements from problem framing through final delivery.

Client-Facing Materials and Strategic Communication

• Produce high-quality presentations, strategy memos, briefing notes, and investor-facing materials suitable for senior client, donor, and partner audiences.
• Lead the development of Excel-based models, including modeled financial statements, and provide junior staff with the necessary inputs to produce data visualizations suitable for senior client audiences.
• Distill complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives with strong executive-level judgment and attention to detail.
• Help ensure all external-facing work meets a consistently high Levoca standard for substance, structure, and polish.

Innovative Finance and Product Design

• Contribute to the design of outcomes-based finance and blended finance structures, including logic models, governance considerations, KPI frameworks, incentive design, and commercial architecture.
• Support development of market-building approaches, funding models, and strategic initiatives that expand Levoca’s intermediation and advisory capabilities.
• Help shape repeatable tools, methods, and offerings that can be deployed across clients and markets.
• Support the build-out of Levoca's future capabilities in outcomes-finance intermediation or fund-management related work, including pipeline logic, screening, portfolio thinking, and reporting structures as relevant.

AI-Enabled Delivery and Capability Building

• Use AI tools and workflow design to improve the speed, depth, and efficiency of research, synthesis, and content development — exercising judgment about when AI accelerates the work and when it risks eroding rigor.
• Contribute to the development of Levoca’s AI-enabled delivery model, identifying where technology can improve quality and reduce manual effort without compromising rigor.
• Help codify and scale effective internal methods for research, analysis, and insight generation.

Team Contribution and Firm Building

• Help translate client needs into structured workplans, clear timelines, and well-managed delivery processes.
• Contribute to proposal development, internal knowledge building, and selected firmwide strategic priorities.
• Support the development of thought leadership and market-facing content that strengthens Levoca’s external profile and point of view.

Required Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in management consulting, investment banking, development finance, private markets, public sector advisory, or a similarly rigorous analytical environment
• Advanced degree strong preferred in relevant discipline, including business, public policy, finance, economics, international development, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree candidates will be considered for exceptional candidates with relevant work experience.
• Strong track record of structuring and executing complex analytical workstreams with limited oversight
• Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, and financial and strategic analysis skills, including experience conducting analytical work in Excel
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce polished, persuasive, client-ready materials
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and recommendations
• Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, research agents, or related platforms to improve workflow quality and efficiency
• Strong interest in international development, sustainable finance, blended finance, outcomes-based finance, and the evolution of impact investing
• Authorization to work in the United States and willingness to be based full-time in Miami

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with blended finance, outcomes-based finance, results-based financing, or innovative finance structures
• Experience with developing modeled financial statements.
• Exposure to donor-funded programs, development finance institutions, or global advisory work
• Familiarity with investor materials, fund strategy, or financial product development
• Experience contributing to thought leadership, publications, or market-facing content
• Advanced proficiency in Spanish, French, or Indonesian strongly preferred

• Strengthen Levoca’s ability to execute complex analytical and strategic work across multiple impact finance topics
• Help integrate at least one meaningful AI-enabled methodology into the firm’s delivery process, improving speed, consistency, or insight generation
• Contribute to the development of repeatable tools, frameworks, or offerings that can be scaled across engagements
• Build credibility with clients, partners, and colleagues as a high-performing and trusted team member
• Show clear trajectory toward broader engagement leadership and expanded responsibility whose judgment, output, and character raise the standard for everyone around them
