Overview
We're looking for a dependable Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works efficiently, and helps set the kitchen up for a smooth, successful service every day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients (chopping, portioning, marinating, etc.) according to recipes and restaurant standards.
• Stock and organize stations with prepped items before service.
• Label, date, and rotate stored food properly (FIFO) to maintain freshness.
• Follow recipes and portion guidelines consistently to control quality and cost.
• Operate kitchen equipment (slicers, mixers, food processors, etc.) safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary prep area throughout the shift.
• Work closely with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure stations are fully stocked and ready during service.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous prep cook or kitchen experience preferred.
• Basic knife skills and comfort following recipes and portioning guidelines.
• Ability to work efficiently and stay organized, especially during busy prep periods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
