Duties

• Greet customers warmly in both languages, ensuring a positive shopping experience from start to finish
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash, credit, and digital transactions
• Handle cash handling responsibilities with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end
• Assist customers with product demos and provide knowledgeable upselling to enhance their shopping experience
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure products are attractive and accessible
• Conduct regular stocking activities to keep inventory levels optimal and ensure product availability
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
• Support store operations by supervising team members when needed, ensuring smooth daily functions

Skills

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication with diverse customers
• Strong retail math skills for accurate cash handling, pricing, and transaction calculations
• Experience with POS systems and cashiering procedures to streamline checkout processes
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Ability to perform retail sales techniques including upselling and product recommendations
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and inventory management within a retail pharmacy/healthcare environment
• Effective communication skills for engaging customers and collaborating with team members
