We are seeking RNs with two years of recent acute care experience and two specialty areas (ICU able to float to PCU ...OR ....PCU able to float to MedTele as needed).

As a Winter Float Pool Seasonal Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care during peak seasons or specific periods of increased demand. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient health, developing and implementing care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to healthcare standards and regulations.

Responsible for the safe delivery and documentation of patient care through the nursing process of assessment// diagnosing// planning// implementation// and evaluation. Performs responsibilities in five areas of nursing practice utilizing critical thinking// management// problem solving and differentiation of urgency in the role of: clinician// teacher// researcher// leadership and professional development. Responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards subscribed to by American Nursing Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory standards. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission. Uses knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. The nurse practice is guided by the code of ethics for nurses with interpretative statements.

Winter Float :

Staffing Resource Center (SRC) high demand winter float pool staff, float throughout the health system to all acute care hospitals within their scope of practice and demonstrated competencies. Intra-shift reassignment and direct placements may be required to support system needs.

Pay: $74.59

Experience Required 2 Specialties (PCU/MS)

Length of Contract: Up to 24 Weeks

Work Commitment: 24 hrs/week

Scheduling: Self Scheduling

Placement Float to all campuses

Travel, Traveler, Staffing, PRN, Seasonal, Winter, As Needed, increased demand, season

Education:Associate degree from accredited school of professional nursing required; bachelors degree preferred.

Experience:Experience required; must have 2 recent years of experience and must have experience in two (2) specialty areas. Qualified individuals will successfully complete the competency assessment. Please reference the Nursing Addendums for department specific requirements.

Certification:Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. For units that require American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. Certification requirements may vary by specialty. Please reference the Nursing Addendums for department specific requirements.

License:Currently licensed in the State of Florida.

Other:Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required. Certification in specialty area preferred.
