About The Role: As a CBRE Investment Sales Manager, you will oversee a small team responsible for developing business and negotiating the selling, leasing, and marketing of commercial real estate properties for clients. This job is part of the Brokerage job function. They are responsible for the buying, selling, and letting of residential, office, and commercial properties on behalf of clients for occupation. What You'll Do:
  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Manage the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Coordinate the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • Coordinate and lead the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets, focusing on both new client acquisition and existing client expansion.
  • Effectively communicate the unique value proposition of products and services.
  • Stay current with market trends, economic indicators, and investment opportunities to provide informed guidance to clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including portfolio managers and research analysts, to ensure alignment between client needs and investment strategies.
  • Regularly review sales data, evaluate performance against targets, and generate actionable insights.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Apply knowledge of own field and how own contribution integrates with collaborators to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately sophisticated issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and tackle problems.
  • Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive approach.
