Receivables Collection Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Receivables Collections Specialist to join our finance team on a fixed-term basis for 6 to 9 months . You will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivable. You'll work cross-functionally to minimize overdue balances while maintaining strong, professional communication with our customers. Key Responsibilities: Contact customers via phone, email, and written correspondence regarding overdue invoices Review and act on accounts receivable aging reports and prioritize collection efforts accordingly Maintain accurate records of collection activity and customer communications Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and internal teams to resolve payment issues Process incoming credit card payments Support teammates with investigations and resolving billing discrepancies Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable legal standards Education & Qualifications: High school diploma required Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable collections Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proven success in collections or similar role Familiarity with billing systems and collection strategies Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems Goal-oriented with a calm and persistent approach Strong communication skills across multiple channels Benefits: 401(k) with Employer Match ~ Medical/Dental/Vision/ GAP insurance ~ Basic Life and AD&D ~ Short / Long Term Disability ~ Critical Illness and Accident Insurance ~ Employee Assistance Program ~ Flexible Spending & Health Savings Account ~ Paid Time Off ~10 Paid Holidays An offer of employment is contingent on the successful passing of a background check. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
