Test Engineer

Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is seeking a Test Engineer that will be responsible for validating the functionality, performance, and reliability of cyber range systems and infrastructure upgrades.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and scripts to ensure that new range capabilities meet mission requirements. This includes system integration testing, performance benchmarking, and troubleshooting hardware/software anomalies.
• Collaborates closely with systems engineers, developers, and government stakeholders
• Ensures that all enhancements are fully vetted before deployment to support secure, high-fidelity cyber training and testing environments.
• Provide remote site support for testing and site setup activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a focus in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline with corresponding experience and demonstrated mastery of relevant topics.
• Five (5) years of related, proven experience performing similar duties.
• Current active Security Clearance and IAT Level II cert (i.e., CompTIA SEC+, CISSP) are required
• Demonstrated ability to work within teams
• Strong organizational skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• 7+ years of related, proven experience performing similar duties.
• Experience configuring software and system test automation tools and processes.
• Working knowledge of cyber testing or training.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and tools.
• Experience testing components residing in virtualized and containerized environments.
