Sales Assistant

Miami Cordage is searching for a dynamic and motivated Sales Assistant to join our growing team. As a Sales Assistant, you will be an integral part of our sales department, supporting our sales representatives and contributing to our customer service efforts.

Your primary responsibilities will involve engaging with customers in our showroom, warmly welcoming walk-in visitors, processing their sales orders, addressing customer inquiries, and guiding them in selecting the right products based on their application. You'll be the friendly face of Miami Cordage, fostering strong connections with our customers while efficiently meeting their needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales representatives with order processing and customer inquiries
• Provide product information and support to customers regarding fiber ropes and other products
• Maintain and update customer records and sales databases
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services
• Participate in sales meetings and contribute ideas for improving sales processes
• Help to ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and service

Requirements

• A strong work ethic, positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
• We'd love to see candidates who have some experience in the marine or rigging industry!
• Excellent attention to detail and a knack for solving problems
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or sales is a plus
• We would greatly appreciate any prior experience in sales or customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, Bi-Lingual is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software
• We're looking for someone with great organizational and multitasking skills who is eager to learn about all areas of our business, including helping with order fulfillment from our warehouse!
