Job Title: Sr. Collections Representative

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Sr. Collections Representative to join our client to help drive timely revenue recovery and maintain the financial health of the organization. This temporary-to-hire opportunity is based in the Pompano Beach, FL area and offers a collaborative environment where strong communication and problem-solving skills are highly valued. The individual in this role will manage collection activities, build productive customer relationships, and help reduce outstanding balances through consistent follow-up and account resolution efforts. Compensation:
$33-$36/Hour

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, normal business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Sr. Collections Representative:

• Manage a portfolio of outstanding accounts, driving collection efforts to improve cash flow and reduce aging receivables.
• Conduct proactive outreach by phone and email to secure payments, resolve delinquent balances, and negotiate appropriate payment arrangements when needed.
• Investigate account discrepancies, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and facilitate timely resolution of billing or payment-related issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities, customer communications, and account statuses within company systems.
• Monitor collection performance and identify opportunities to streamline processes and support overall accounts receivable objectives.

Qualifications and Skills for the Sr. Collections Representative:

• Demonstrated success in business-to-business or commercial collections, with 5+ years of experience preferred; candidates with 3+ years of exceptional collections experience will also be considered.
• Confidence handling high-volume phone interactions and discussing past-due balances while maintaining professionalism and achieving results.
• Proficiency with ERP or financial management platforms, with experience using NetSuite or Sage strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Coupa or similar procure-to-pay systems is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and follow-through skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
