The Warehouse Coordinator ensures the efficient daily operation of the warehouse by managing inventory, overseeing warehouse maintenance, and coordinating logistics. This role involves handling the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, equipment, and supplies, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse and storage areas.

  • Manage inventory levels, including parts requisitions, stock replenishments, and purchase order creation and follow-up.
  
  
  
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

  • Schedule and oversee truck and warehouse inventories to ensure accurate stock levels and timely distribution.
  
  
  
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to address inventory needs and delivery schedules.

  • Supervise the maintenance of the yard, including managing scrap and waste, and coordinating pickup and disposal.
  
  
  




• Uniforms and Consignment:

  
  
  
  
  
  
  • Manage the inventory and distribution of uniforms.
  
  
  
  • Oversee consignment inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and management.
  
  
  




• Warranty and Claims:

  
  
  
  
  
  
  • Handle warranty submissions and track the status of claims.
  
  
  




• Stock Handling and Inspection:

  
  
  
  
  
  
  • Pack and unpack items, ensuring proper storage and labeling.
  
  
  
  • Inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting issues to supervisors and addressing faulty or defective components.

  • Follow and enforce safety procedures, maintaining compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  
  
  
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and according to prescribed standards.

Qualifications

• Background Check: Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screening.



• Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance. Able to perform physically demanding tasks including reaching, bending, and carrying.



• Manual Dexterity: Adept at using hands and arms to handle, grasp, and operate equipment.



• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented and respectful communication style.



• Equipment Operation: Experience or willingness to learn to operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, floor lifts, and forklifts.



• Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with computers for data entry and inventory management.

Working Conditions

• Environment: The role may involve working indoors or outdoors, with exposure to various environmental conditions including weather elements and outdoor particles.



• Physical Demands: Tasks may include sitting or standing for extended periods, with a need for visual perception and discrimination.
