Vaco is hiring for a Logistics Account Executive opportunity in Jacksonville FL

Salary: 55-65,000/yr Commission
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new business relationships with shippers and customers.
- Manage the full shipment lifecycle, including quoting, booking, tracking, and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Negotiate carrier rates to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive pricing.
- Build and maintain strong carrier relationships to ensure capacity and reliability.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns and resolving shipment issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Track and report shipment status, financial performance, and key performance metrics.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics sales, or 3PL operations .
- Strong understanding of FTL, LTL, and intermodal freight .
- Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
- Familiarity with TMS systems and load boards , including DAT, Truckstop, or similar platforms.
- Established book of business is a plus but not required .
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, commission-based environment.
