We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining and operating complex radiographic equipment. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, contributing to our mission of delivering the highest standard of healthcare services. **All shifts available! Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the application of non-ionizing, high-frequency ultrasonic waves for diagnosis of disease.
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans following established protocols to ensure patient safety and optimal imaging results.
- Operate CT scanner to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians and other medical professionals to discuss scan images, patient histories, and diagnostic information.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
- Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures to patients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on radiographic equipment, identifying any technical issues and reporting them to the appropriate personnel.
- Stay abreast with the latest industry advancements, technologies, and best practices in CT imaging.
- Florida Department of Health Radiographer or Radiologist Assistant license and ARRT (CT) certification; alternatively, ARRT (N) + ARRT (CT), or ARRT (T) + ARRT (CT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- 2+ years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in CT imaging software and image transmission systems (e.g., Visage)
- Strong patient care skills, including IV support and CD creation for transfers
- Ability to support MSTU (Mobile Stroke Team Unit) operations, community outreach, and stroke metrics workflow enhancements
- Excellent communication, technical troubleshooting, and teamwork capabilities
- Able to work rotating weekends and holidays
