Tax Senior Accountant- High Net Worth and Complex Entities

We have partnered with a few rapidly growing accounting practices in the Orlando, FL area that primarily focus on wealth management (tax set up and pass through), business advisory services, merger and acquisition services, and building partnerships with the local business community as well as company leaders throughout the Orlando FL, Lake Mary, Kissimmee, South Orlando, and surrounding areas.

These accounting teams are growing due to the addition of new clients every month, due in part to merger activity of some top 25 firms. We primarily partner with employee-centric and forward thinking accounting firms that want their teams to grow and develop and not be in a high stress environment.

Responsibilities:

-Providing tax prep services and advisory services to a wide range of businesses, High Net Worth clients, and various business entities including trusts, estates, and partnerships

-Oversee multiple tax engagements as well as work with the office in a team environment

-Complete all work and engagements according to the specified deadlines and in accordance with firm requirements

-Complete tax research, prep and review work for C-Corps, S-Corps, HNW, partnerships, trusts, and other entities

-Mentor junior staff for training and development on Tax assignments

-Create and foster client client relationships for the firm

Qualifications:

-B.S. / B.A. BBA in accounting or equivalent (econ, business admin, finance, accounting, stats) who is potentially on track to acquiring the additional CPA needed credit hours (additional education) OR on track and or desire to working towards the CPA in the future OR have the CPA already....)

-2-3 years of tax experience working with multiple business entities

-Experience in tax prep work across multiple industries

-Experience with various accounting software programs if possible including CCH, Pro System, Ultra Tax (or other comparable accounting software is ideal).

-Great communicator with a teamwork oriented mindset and personal skills to lead teams as well as coach other staff members
