Summary / Objective

At Double Knot Miami, the Host is the first point of contact for every guest entering our space. This role sets the tone for the entire experience and is essential to delivering the high‑energy, high‑hospitality environment our Miami location is known for. The Host will support and guide the front desk team and manage a fast‑moving, high‑volume Resy book for one of the busiest restaurants in South Florida.

• Greet all arriving and departing guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.

• Answer incoming calls and provide accurate, helpful information regarding reservations, menus, and general inquiries.

• Manage the flow of guests into the dining room and bar, communicating accurate wait times and ensuring smooth transitions.

• Demonstrate strong problem‑resolution skills and escalate guest concerns to Management when appropriate.

• Work collaboratively with Hosts, Servers, Bartenders, and support staff to uphold Schulson Collective service standards at all times.

• Create memorable guest experiences that drive repeat business; inform guests of other Schulson Collective concepts in Miami and beyond.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

This position does not have formal supervisory responsibilities but is expected to act as a leader and role model for other Hosts/Hostesses.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally push and/or pull up to 50 pounds. The employee will spend over four hours daily standing or walking.

• Prior knowledge and use of Resy required.

• Minimum two (2) years of customer service experience within the restaurant or hospitality industry.

• Strengths must include multi‑tasking, problem resolution, and guest relations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience managing a high‑volume reservation book in a fast‑paced environment.

• Strong team orientation and work ethic.

• Exceptional hospitality and guest‑relations skills.
