IT Support Specialist
- Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure optimal usability
- This includes configuring systems across multiple platforms (Windows/macOS/iOS)
- Provision IT equipment for new and existing employees
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues to maintain seamless operations
- Repair or replace damaged hardware components as needed
- Upgrade operating systems and software to ensure compatibility with new technologies
- Install and update antivirus software to protect systems at the user level
- Perform testing on new hardware and software to ensure functionality and compatibility
- Create and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and guides for hardware and software procedures
- Provide training to staff on new technologies and their implementation within the company
- Respond to IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and networking problems
- Provide remote technical support when required to assist users across various locations
- Pack, ship, and ensure timely delivery of equipment to remote users
- Purchase and install GPS systems in company vehicles and heavy equipment
- Monitor corporate and other site networks to ensure system reliability
- Manage the Microsoft Admin Center, Entra ID, and Intune for efficient administration
- Handle Verizon MDM management to ensure mobile device security and compliance
- Maintain company-wide applications i.e. Adobe, DocuSign, 8x8, M365
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Windows, macOS, and iOS systems in a Help Desk, Desktop Administrator or similar role in a corporate setting
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve a wide variety of IT-related issues
- Familiarity with network administration, system monitoring, and security practices
- Experience using Microsoft Admin Center, Entra ID, Jamf, Intune, and Verizon MDM
- Experience using Azure AD for onboarding and off-boarding
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for documentation and staff training
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with hardware repairs and system upgrades
- Previous experience in IT support or network administration
- Certification in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, etc.)
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (IT), or a related field
- Industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent credentials are highly recommended
