About the Job
Carter Psychology Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team of licensed mental health professionals. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for children and adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioral, developmental, learning, and mental health challenges. You will work closely with families, physicians, educators, and other healthcare providers to develop individualized treatment plans that promote long-term emotional well-being and healthy development.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children and adolescents.
- Diagnose emotional, behavioral, developmental, and neurodevelopmental disorders using evidence-based assessment methods.
- Provide individual, family, and parent-focused psychotherapy.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Administer and interpret cognitive, educational, behavioral, personality, and developmental assessments.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, psychiatrists, school personnel, and community providers to coordinate patient care.
- Provide consultation and guidance to parents regarding behavioral management and developmental concerns.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and peer consultations.
- Stay current with emerging research and best practices in pediatric clinical psychology.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Pediatric Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Licensed or license-eligible Clinical Psychologist.
- Specialized training and experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
- Experience conducting psychological and psychoeducational evaluations.
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatments for anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, trauma, behavioral disorders, and learning disabilities.
- Excellent clinical interviewing, diagnostic, and report-writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Commitment to ethical practice, cultural competence, and patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Bonus Points
- Experience with pediatric neuropsychological assessments.
- Training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Trauma-Focused CBT, or play therapy.
- Experience collaborating with schools and educational professionals.
- Familiarity with autism spectrum disorder and ADHD evaluations.
- Experience supervising psychology trainees or interns.
- Bilingual communication skills are highly valued.
