This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing inventory control, and assisting in the training and development of staff while ensuring that our market strategies align with company goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to promote teamwork and efficiency.
• Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, receiving, and tracking stock levels to ensure optimal supply.
• Develop training programs for new employees to enhance their skills and knowledge of products/services.
• Communicate effectively with team members to relay important information regarding sales targets, promotions, and operational changes.
• Monitor performance metrics and assist in implementing strategies for improvement.
• Participate in market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages employee engagement and development.

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience in an Assistant Manager role or similar supervisory position is required.
• Strong administrative skills with a focus on organizational effectiveness.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with customers and staff alike.
• A background in training development is advantageous, as is experience in market analysis or strategy implementation.
