Position Purpose :

An Oncology Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized care, education, and support to patients with cancer or at risk for it, working in cancer centers or private practices . Key duties include assessing patient health, administering chemotherapy and immunotherapy, managing side effects, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, and providing emotional support to patients and families .

What you will do:

• Treatment Administration: Safely administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, and supportive medications.

• Assessment & Monitoring: Monitor vital signs, manage treatment side effects, and assess physical/emotional status.

• Patient Education: Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and symptom management.

• Care Coordination: Act as a liaison between patients and oncologists/specialists.

• Documentation: Maintain detailed, accurate patient records and care plans.

• Support: Provide compassionate care and emotional support throughout the treatment journey.

Minimum Qualifications: Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelors is required.

Experience & Skills:

Previous medical oncology experience in an acute care facility.

Licensure/Certification:

* ONS Chemo Biotherapy course on hire or within 6 months of hire required

* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.

* Current BLS Certification Required - AHA
