A rapidly growing biotechnology organization with a cutting edge antibody discovery platform is seeking a Business Development Manager to support global partnering and licensing efforts. This is a unique opportunity for a scientifically driven professional to transition into a commercial role - no prior BD experience required, full training provided!
The Role
You will work at the intersection of science and business, helping to position proprietary antibody platforms and assets to pharmaceutical and biotech partners. This role is ideal for someone with deep antibody discovery expertise who is interested in moving into a client-facing, strategic partnering role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support licensing and partnering discussions for antibody discovery platforms and therapeutic assets
- Translate complex scientific data into clear, compelling value propositions for external partners
- Engage with biotech and pharma companies to understand pipeline needs and align platform capabilities
- Participate in partner meetings, presentations, and scientific discussions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D and leadership to shape partnering strategy
✅ Requirements
- PhD (Pharmacology, Immunology, Cancer Biology, or related biomedical field)
- Strong hands-on experience in antibody discovery and early development , including:
- Target validation
- Hit-to-lead optimization / early discovery workflows
- Data interpretation (affinity, specificity, in vivo efficacy)
- Familiarity with antibody modalities (monoclonal antibodies, bispecifics, ADCs)
- Ability to translate scientific insights into therapeutic and partnering narratives
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Strategic mindset with interest in external partnerships and licensing
