Blaster
Eligibility Requirement : Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position. Responsibilities:
- Blast paint and coatings from incoming landing gear components to prepare them for further processing
- Precisely blast designated areas on components to prepare surfaces for chrome and nickel plating
- Perform blasting operations for cadmium and other specialized coatings, including "Fun Nital"
- Operate and maintain blasting equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations
- Inspect surfaces after blasting to ensure quality standards are met and areas are properly prepped for plating
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support production goals
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience or training in blasting or surface preparation
- Experience in aerospace or landing gear components
- Knowledge of plating processes and industry safety standards
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed
