The Royal Caribbean Group's Digital Product team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Digital Analyst reporting to the Senior Manager Growth Strategy & Analytics
This position will work on-site in Miami Florida
Position Summary:
Based in Miami FL and reporting to the Sr Manager Growth Strategy & Analytics the Digital Analyst will assist with performance measurement and analysis that inform the teams within RCCL digital This individual will be responsible for interacting with various departments within Royal Caribbean to find consolidate & manipulate data from multiple large data sets; to analyze and understand results; and to create reports presentations and/or dashboards Types of analysis could include financial guest experience/behavioral or business process related The ideal candidate will be able to work under slight supervision to provide digital business opportunities based on the data they collect and assess as well as help to maintain data visualizations that tell a story This position has input into the development teams and will influence the growth of current and future digital products for RCCL as a positive impact on both our Guest & employee experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Contributes analytical and data support for the development of business plans & development backlogs This might include strategies on product feature prioritization baseline assessment & tracking for key performance indicators as well as evaluating the revenue and/or guest satisfaction impact of potential changes Aggregates large data sets in Tableau PowerBI Excel or other analytical tools for analysis Contributes to data collection discussions identifying critical information and data sources Performs research and analysis on large data sets - data exploration trending- etc
- Works with departmental management & other team members to understand & clarify data analysis and reporting needs
- Makes recommendations and influences the direction of the business by effectively communicating results to a cross functional group
- Responsible for producing reports on daily/weekly/monthly reporting on business trends and the status of digital experience
- Analyzes revenue performance by understanding global economies and passenger spending patterns
- Employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BA) required
- MBA or relevant Master's degree desired 1-2 years of work experience required
- with experience performing financial analysis or business intelligence/marketing analytics highly preferred
- Experience in travel/leisure hospitality is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
To perform this position successfully the individual should be a self-starter and be able to complete small projects with only a small amount of direction Furthermore the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty in a timely and accurate manor The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skills and or ability required to satisfy this position:
Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of basic economic & financial concepts- as well as demonstrate a strong knowledge in Excel or another analytical tools
- Knowledge of BI dashboard design highly desirable Ability to collect
- consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources
- Ability to work with & manipulate large sets of data and to make recommendations with potential financial impacts with minimal supervision Working knowledge of Excel Word & PowerPoint
- with experience manipulating large data sets Exposure to SAS Tableau SQL
- Adobe or equivalent technologies preferred
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving and problem identification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in global environment
- Attention to detail required Ability to operate in a team environment
- with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities at once
