Business Loan Advisor
LendAbiz is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Business Loan Advisor to help small business owners identify and secure financing solutions that support their growth objectives. The Business Loan Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for prospective clients, guiding them through the funding process from initial inquiry through approval and funding. The ideal candidate possesses strong sales, relationship-building, and financial analysis skills and is passionate about helping businesses access capital. LendAbiz offers financing solutions, including term loans, revenue-based financing, bridge loans, and business lines of credit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with business owners to understand their financing needs and business objectives.
- Educate clients on available funding options, including term loans, revenue-based financing, bridge loans, and lines of credit.
- Review applications, financial documents, and business information to assess eligibility.
- Guide applicants through the pre-qualification and application process.
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding application status and funding requirements.
- Recommend financing solutions that align with each client's cash flow and growth goals.
- Work closely with underwriting and funding teams to facilitate timely approvals and funding.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective borrowers through inbound and outbound outreach.
- Meet or exceed monthly funding, sales, and customer service goals.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and application progress within the CRM system.
- Stay informed on lending products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the financing process.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in business lending, financial services, banking, merchant cash advance, or consultative sales.
- Strong understanding of small business financing products and lending concepts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze financial information and identify suitable funding solutions.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial lending, SBA lending, or alternative business financing.
- Existing network of small business clients and referral partners.
- Knowledge of underwriting fundamentals and business financial statements.
- Proven track record of achieving sales or funding targets.
