The Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute (DHI) is seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist with subspecialty IBD training to join our Center for Inflammatory Bowel Disease. The selected physician will join an established team of two IBD-focused gastroenterologists with dedicated APP support and a dedicated dietician, mental health therapist, and specialty nurse navigators. We provide care for patients across Florida, by offering both in-person and telehealth clinic visits. There are ample opportunities for the incoming physician to participate in both investigator-initiated and sponsored clinical trials with a robust team of researchers within DHI. The position is ideal for candidates wanting to practice in a hybrid setting where you get to be in an academic atmosphere but with the efficiency and benefits of private practice. As one of the nations most highly regarded digestive disease programs, the Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute offers comprehensive and coordinated care to evaluate, diagnose and treat a wide range of digestive diseases. Subspecialty services offered include advanced endoscopy, medical pancreatology, hepatology, neurogastroenterology and motility and inflammatory bowel diseases. The institutes team of globally respected physicians areleaders in clinical research and postgraduate medical education. The institute boasts a very vibrant clinical research program that conducts cutting-edge trials in endoscopic tumor resection, pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, IBD, and hemostasis. The institute has an ACGME-approved gastroenterology fellowship and hosts several international symposiums annually. Role Requirements:
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology.
  • Fellowship Trained in Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
