Job Opportunity – Advanced Practice Provider – Emergency Medicine

Schedule: 10–12 shifts per month (60–120 hours monthly); flexible scheduling with various shift options including days, evenings, and nights. All 12-hour shifts available as volume increases.

Highlights:

• High-volume Emergency Department serving approximately 55,000 patients annually, including pediatric cases
• Manageable patient volume at 1.7 patients per hour on average
• Mixed patient population with 25% admission rate; average daily census of 155 patients including 30 pediatric patients
• Collaborative environment with 42 hours of daily physician coverage
• Flexible shift patterns – shifts do not need to be consecutive
• Current shift options: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (transitioning to 12-hour shifts)

Requirements:

• Active APP license (NP or PA)
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience required; 2 years preferred
• Level 2 trauma center or higher experience strongly preferred
• Clean professional file with appropriate credentials and certifications
• Ability and willingness to work all shift types (days, evenings, nights)
• Experience with quality metrics and performance-based care delivery preferred
