Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies is the 2nd busiest OB hospital in the country, providing specialized care focused on women's health and newborns. As a Level IV Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Hospital for Florida, we care for the highest acuity maternal and neonatal patients. Position Overview We are seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our growing team at Winnie Palmer Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-acuity women's health practice with excellent work-life balance and competitive compensation. Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia services for a high-acuity, varied case mix in women's health.
  • Share in collaborative call rotation with team members.
  • Occasional independent case management as needed.
  • Supervise CRNAs and CAAs in delivering anesthesia care for obstetric and gynecologic cases.
  • Teaching opportunities with CRNA and CAA students.
Required:
  • Education: M.D., or D.O.
  • Completion of an ACGME/AOA accredited Anesthesiology residency program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Unrestricted FL medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and DEA

The hospitals 350 beds include 142 neonatal intensive care beds, making it one of the largest neonatal intensive care units in the United States. As a Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Hospital for the state of Florida, high-risk obstetrical patients and their infants are referred to our specialists. A two-story sky bridge connects us to Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, allowing for easy patient transport and efficient sharing of physician and diagnostic resources.
